FIRST CHIEF JUDGE IN KANO

On Thursday, the Kano State House of Assembly confirmed the appointment of Dije Aboki as the Chief Justice of Kano. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf sent her name before the parliament, 

to seek her approval in confirming Dije Aboki, this high position in the legal sector in Kano. Since March, Justice Dije Aboki has occupied this seat as an interim, after the then governor of the state,

 Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, approved her appointment. 59 years old, Justice Dije Aboki started working with the Kano State Ministry of Justice as a government lawyer in 1985.
